Hello Everybody,
It's been a long time coming. But it's finally here!! The first official M.A.N.U.P. 1 year Anniversary RED CUP party!! For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, we're a group of former Howard University students, who got together and decided to start our own non-profit organization. The name is 'Making A New United People' which also happens to spell MAN UP. So we felt it's really time to "man up" in our communities. Our mission is to develop the next generation of successful leaders by impacting the lives of youth in under served communities through the principles of education, social responsibility, self-empowerment, and economics awareness. We've had great success with our programs but are always in need of additional help. So ALL proceeds from this event will go toward youth programming. So come out and show your support and party with us! We're gonna party until the electricity burns out!! Red Cup drink specials being served ALL night long!! Hip Hop & RnB will be spinning ALL night long!! Freshly dressed people will be flooding the dance floor ALL night long!! So come out, and grace us with your presence!! **Also.... If you're Not the partying type, but you still just want to come out and show your support.... Before the Party, we're having a Social Networking Mixer from 9pm-10pm, where light refreshments, and complimentary cake & beverages will be served. Come out, show your support with your donation, and enjoy a good conversation over a delicious complimentary piece of cake or ice cold all natural tea. Cover charge will be $10 which will get you into both events, and remember ALL proceeds go toward youth programming, so come make a small donation for a good cause. |

The anniversary of rapper Notorious BIG untimely death, Cre8 will be exhibiting a special selection of paintings by Aniekan Udofia (www.artofaniekanudofia.com), Matias Cueva, Moe (www.moesartdesign.com) and Alex Vallcorba(www.vallcorbaink.com); as well as a custom tapestry honoring Biggie and hip hop culture. All are welcomed! $5 suggested donation This event is designed to involve the community in all things arts and humanities. GUEST ARE INVITED TO BRING THEIR IPODS AND PLAY THEIR FAVORITE BIG SONG OR MIX!! |
